UCM MD curriculum is organized in a way so graduates will obtain an identical MD degree to that granted by USA medical schools. Therefore, UCM graduate will be able to enter Matching Programs for Residency in USA in any medical specialty as he/she will have already passed United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), Step 1, Step 2, and Step 2 Clinical Skills test, and be eligible for the ECFMG certification upon graduation from UCM.
Additionally, an innovative medical education approach using Team Based Learning (TBL) will be the main theme for courses. TBL along with all other innovative tools of learning, such as problem-solving, evidence-based medicine, computer-based E-learning and other types of modern principles and tools used in medical schools will be used.
Our medical students are coming from various educational backgrounds and the role of our college is to encourage and provide support for self-learning and critical thinking, as well as to enhance personal development.
